At the "start-up corner" booth, the reporter met Dr. Lang Yidong of LyDAR Tech.  LyDAR Tech is a high-tech start-up company dedicated to artificial intelligence ioT solutions established by the German returnees' elite team, as Dr. Lang said. In front of him, there are all kinds of smart meter readers. It turns out that Lang Yidong envisions to use scientific and technological ways to solve the industry pain points in the field of water affairs. In this industry, it is difficult to read meters, to analyze the leakage, to collecting data, and to implement constructions.

In May this year, the LyDAR Tech, founded by Dr. Lang in China, carried out water-saving pipeline management project for Shanghai Putuo District People's Hospital. For meters of each pipe network of the hospital, the water consumption of each floor of the whole hospital was monitored by installing the Auge water meter remote reading system provided by LyDAR Tech. The project can fully control the change and trend of total water consumption in real time, and automatically generate an early warning and control mechanism for internal water leakage of the hospital, improve the response speed of leakage and leakage spot positioning, and reduce the cost of leakage maintenance.

German “Start-up Corner” still has the assist of Shenzhen Chamber of Investment.
