A variety of advanced aerospace products were exhibited at this year's China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) which took place in Shenzhen, Guangdong province from Nov 15 to 19.
The KT-1 satellite is a technology test satellite project independently developed by Shenzhen Aerospace Dongfanghong Satellite Co, aiming to provide users with cost-effective micro and nano satellite system solutions based on industrial-grade products and technologies. The KT-1 satellite system is composed of two satellites, with one being a low-cost technology test micro-satellite and the other being the standard 2U cube technology test satellite.
Origin Space brought its NEO-01 space debris cleaning robot to this year's CHTF. It is the world's first space resources development technology validation satellite. The several technologies it has validated are applicable to low-Earth orbit space junk removal, asteroid resource mining, and exoplanet defense.
The Lingque satellite is an optical remote sensing satellite developed by ZeroG Lab. It weighs about 15 kilograms, and is composed of a platform and an optical remote sensing load. It can use its visible remote sensing payloads to photograph key areas, and the data acquired will be used in fields like agriculture and forestry protection, water pollution monitoring, and smart cities.
Yangwang-1 is China's first visible light space telescope and the world's only wide-field ultraviolet space probe in orbit. It was awarded an official space telescope number by the Minor Planet Center of the International Astronomical Union. It can carry out asteroid observation, space debris observation, and moving target monitoring, and has the capability of remote monitoring the Earth at night. The spatial resolution of the night light satellite image obtained reaches the international leading level, and the accuracy of the unit pixel is within 30 meters.
