Since 1999, the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) has been successfully held for 26 editions, becoming an important part of the national innovation system, a key window for China’s high-tech sector to open up to the outside world, and a major platform for the communication and trade of high-tech achievements.

The CHTF has received great attention from national leaders. State leaders who have attended past sessions of the CHTF include Zhu Rongji, Wu Bangguo, Wu Yi, Zeng Peiyan, Hui Liangyu, Wang Yang, Liu Yandong, as well as several leaders of the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
